Strategic Programme Fund
The Strategic Programme Fund (SPF), formerly known as the Global Opportunities Fund, was created in 2003 in order to support the delivery of the international objectives of the British Government.
Through SPF, the FCO collaborates with organisations from the public and private sector and civil society, supporting initiatives that help achieve our international policy goals. These projects are of mutual benefit to Mexico and the UK and aim to ensure long term sustainability.
Implementing organisations approach SPF for funds, and compete with other organisations through a global selection process.
