Programmes in Mexico
In Mexico, Strategic Programmes Fund (SPF) projects are carried out in collaboration with Mexican institutions from the public and private sectors, as well as from civil society. These organisations implement projects with FCO funds. Sometimes they also receive technical advice from UK experts.
So far, more than 80 million mexican pesos (4 million pounds) have been invested in Mexico through SPF since 2003.
In Mexico, SPF supports projects which promote the transition to a low carbon, high growth economy, as well as an effective international system which guarantees human rights.
